Resting at the Turner and Porter Funeral Home, 436 Roncesvalles Ave. Service in the chapel a 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon. Interment Prospect Cemetery.

n timber merchant, Robert Twible, of 117 Millicent Street, Toronto, died Monday at Allen Private Hospital in his 91st year. He had been in ill health for the last four years.

Born in Castleblaney, Monaghan Ireland, Mr. Twible came to Canada at the age of 14, first settling in Orangeville. For some years he lived in Shelburne, where he owned a lumber yard before moving to Toronto 50 years ago. He continued in the timber business until his retirement in 1930.

Mr. Twible was a Presbyterian and a member of the old West Church and was also a life member of the Orange Order.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. George Lawson and Mrs. Harold Gilliam and five sons, William J., H. Hunter, Robert G., M. Meredith and Albert E. Twible.

Nine days after she had suffered a stroke, Mrs. William Little, a well known resident of Orangeville, passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. George Walker, West Broadway, on Saturday, June 22nd. She was 82 years of age and had been a resident of Orangeville for the past twenty-nine years.

Born in Monaghan, Ireland, Mrs. Little was a daughter of George Twible and Elizabeth Robinson. Her maiden name was Hannah Twible and she came to Canada when fourteen years of age with other members of the family. Settling in Mono Township, she was married when twenty years of age to William Little and with her husband moved to the Camilla district where they farmed until twenty-nine years ago, when they retired and moved to Orangeville. Their farm at Camilla was situated on lot 19, Highway 10, Mono.

Mrs. Little was a staunch member of St. Mark's Anglican Church, Orangeville. While a resident at Camilla she had worshipped in St. Alban's Church. In younger years she had been an active church worker, and since coming to town was familiarly known to a large circle of friends. News of her passing was received with general regret. she was predeceased eight years ago by her husband. Surviving are one brother, Robert Twible, Toronto; one sister, Mrs. Jane Cherry, Saskatoon, Sask.; three daughters, Mrs. Jas. M. Stinson, Mono, Mrs. Thos Hodgson, Amaranth, and Mrs. Geo. Walker, Orangeville; and three sons, James B. Little, Camilla and Robert and John, Toronto. Her brother suffered a stroke a week prior to Mrs. Little's demise and was unable to attend the funeral service.

Following a private service at the home on Tuesday, June 25th, a public service was held in St. Mark's Church. Canon H.A. West-McMaster, the rector, officiated. Interment was made in the Forest Lawn cemetery. The pallbearers were Messrs. W. J. Twible, Robert Twible and Meredith Twible, Toronto and the three sons, James, Robert and John Little. Flowerbearers were Edwin Stinson, Arthur Hodgson and Russell and Harold Little.

The beautiful floral offerings included: Pillow, The Family; baskets, Grandchildren, St. Mark's W.A. and Parish Guild, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Sanderson and Family, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Passmore and Family; sprays, Robert Little and Family, Frank Sheepwash; wreath, Hugh and George Carson and Families, Ottawa.

Friends were present for the obsequies from Toronto, Ottawa, Shelburne and Hillsburg.

Mrs. Jane Cherry
84, matriarch of six sons, three daughters, who died at her residence, 321 Avenue V, south last Tuesday. The funeral service was held at Park Funeral Chapel on Saturday, conducted by the Rev. Mr. Wilkinson.

Mrs. Cherry had lived in Smithville and in Saskatoon since 1896, 17 years after she came to Canada from Ireland, her native land. Her husband, William Cherry, predeceased her last October.

Surviving members of the family now living in rural Saskatoon are Mrs. W.W. Pollock, Mrs. J.R. Mitchell, R.J. Cherry and Edward Cherry. Another daughter, Mrs. W.L. Rogers, lives at 421 Avenue D, south. The remaining sons are W.J. Cherry, Luseland; J.H. Cherry, Sutherland; George Cherry, 311 Avenue U, south; Theodore Cherry, Branch, Michigan.
