Forest Lloyd CherryBorn 16 Nov 1938 Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada, died 21 Jan 2016, 77 years Cherry, Forest (Frosty) Lloyd Was born on November 16, 1938 and passed away suddenly on January 21, 2016, at the age of 77 years. Frosty is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Deanna; children Doug (Sandy), Ron (Melissa), Daryl (Carmen); grandchildren Shawn (Tanya), Darcy (Abby), Kyle (Chloe), Colin (Alyssa), Nicole, Stefan (Kristi), Jenna (TJ); great- grandchildren Adria, Dawson, Tesla, Heatley, Easton, Cache, Linden, sister Grace, brother Lorne (Betty); sister-in-law Addie and numerous extended family and friends. Frosty was predeceased by his father Robert, mother Edith, brothers Wilf, Vern and sister Vera. Frosty was born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and this is where he met Deanna and started their family. Looking for a change, Frosty and Deanna decided to move the family west in 1971 and ventured out to Prince George, BC. Frosty embraced what Prince George and the north offered, he loved to curl in the winter and spent the summers camping, fishing and golfing with family and friends. He opened his own automotive business with his son (Doug) in 1978 and retired from the business in 1996. Frosty and Deanna spent many winters traveling to Arizona with friends and this sense of adventure brought much joy and happiness to his life. In 2001 Frosty and Deanna retired to Kelowna, BC to enjoy a life of golf, leisure and sunshine. Being the social butterfly he was, they made numerous friends with whom they enjoyed many, many happy hours with! In 2014 Frosty and Deanna decided to return to Prince George to be with their growing family. Family was everything to Frosty, he held them near and dear to his heart - something that was evident to all by the pride he had in his family. The family would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the paramedics, nurses and doctors who all took care of Frosty in his time of need. A tribute to Frosty will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers we ask that you raise a glass and have 'one' in honor of Frosty. Cheers! 2. Grace Cherry PRIVACY FILTER3. Lorne Richard Cherry PRIVACY FILTER4. Wilfred Cherry5. Vern Cherry6.
