Deceased, who was born, December 25, 1837 on lot 2 Centre Road, Mono Township, was the daughter of the late George and Alice Little, of Mono. She married William Jackson on December 25, 1853, to which union twelve children were born, six of whom have predeceased her. Those remaining are Nathan and Robert of Shelburne; William of Newton Robinson,; Miss Sarah, Mono Township; Mrs. N. C. Bellerby, Shelburne; Mrs A. Markle, Loverna Sask. She is also survived by one brother William little and Mrs. Sarah Wilkins, of Orangeville; and Mrs. Jas. Carson, of Meaford: also 29 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Since her marriage she lived at lot 25, con. 2, east Mono, until twelve years ago, when she moved to Victoria Street, Shelburne. She died Monday, November 3, at the residence of her daughter, Miss Sarah Jackson, Lot 26, Con. 2, East Mono from wence the funeral took place on Thursday, November 6. The service was conducted at the house and Shelburne Cemetery by Rev. Mr. Hartley of the Anglican Church, Shelburne (of which she was a consistent member), who spoke in glowing terms of the exemplary life which the deceased had lived. On Wednesday, June 2nd, another of the life long residents of Mono township, passed to the great beyond, in the person of Nathan Jackson. Deceased who was born on lot 25, in 1860 had lived there and on the farm where he died practically all his life. He was a son of the late William and Mary Ann Jackson. In religion he was Anglican, being a member of St. Matthews' Church, and in politics he was Conservative. He had never married and at the time of his death was waited on by his sister Sarah, who since October 1924 has come through the trying ordeal of burying her brother James, her mother and now Nathan. The funeral which was held on Friday afternoon to Shelburne Cemetery was largely attended. The service at the house being conducted by Rev. Hurford of Shelburne and Rev. Lemon of St. Matthews' Church. Mr Jackson is survived by two brothers, William, Newton Robinson; and Robert, of Shelburne; also three sisters, Sarah, at home; Mrs Albert Markle, Toverna Sask.; and Mrs N C Bellerby, Shelburne. MARY E. McGILLIVARY: The quiet morning hours of Sunday, June 8th, marked the passing away of Mrs. Mary E. McGillivary of St. Thomas, daughter of Mrs. Wm. Jackson, Victoria St., Shelburne. In the death of one of St. Thomas' honored citizens a kind friend and loving mother is lost. Her pathway in life was a difficult one, yet she was the most optimistic person you could meet. She has left to mourn one grown-up daughter, Bertha, who skillfully and patiently nursed her mother through her illness, and one delicate son, Willie. J. JACKSON: One of the best-known farmers of Tecumseth township, William J. Jackson, passed away in St. Michael's Hospital, Toronto, on June 22nd, 1941, following an attack of pneumonia. The funeral, held on June 25th, was largely attended by sympathizing relatives and friends from Shelburne, Grand Valley, Mono Mills and Toronto as well as from the surrounding district. Many beautiful flowers were received. The service at the home and at Alliston Cemetery were conducted by Rev. T. J. Jewitt and the following cousins acted as pallbearers: Messrs. He farmed for ten years in West Gwillimbury township and the balance of his life in Tecumseth. He was a member of the United Church, a Conservative and an Orangeman. Enjoying the respect and confidence of his fellow citizens, he was honored with a seat on the municipal council for ten years. On March 6, 1895, he married Mary Jane McKelvey, who survives him with the following family: W. Leonard, Tecumseth; Mrs. Ansley Swaffield, Toronto; Dalton and Mrs. Alonzo Williams, West Gwillimbury. Deceased, in her 78th year, was a daughter of the late William Jackson and Mary Ann Little, of Mono Township. She was one of a family of twelve. Predeceased are Nathan, Alice, Frances, Mary Ellen, George, William, David, James, Robert and Bertha. Surviving is one sister, Mrs. Rebecca Bellerby, Shelburne. The late Miss Jackson had made her home in Shelburne for the last 26 years, after leaving the farm in Mono. The funeral service, which took place from the Gamble Funeral Home on Monday, Feb. 6th, was conducted by Rev. Dr. H. H. Hutcheson. The pallbearers were: Messrs. Walter Little, Charles Jackson, Ed.
