Wm. J. Little died at his residence, lot 27, con. 2, W.H.S., Mono, on Friday last after an illness of over two years from cancer at the age of 47 years. Deceased had several operations erformed but to no avail. He is survived by a widow, two sons and two daughters. The remains were interred in the Shelburne cemetery on Sunday afternoon. The funeral which was conducted by the Orange Society was one of the largest ever held here.

A highly respect resident of Mono Township, Sarah Caroline Marshall, widow of the late William J. Little passed away at the home of her daughter Mrs. Gibson Richardson, on Thursday May 10th, 1938 in her 78th year after an illness of six weeks. Deceased was the youngest daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Marshall pioneers of Dundalk community. Mrs. Little was a member of the Anglican Church all her life having attended the first Anglican service held in the Dundalk district. She was married to William J. Little in 1883 and spent most of her married life in Mono Township. Her husband predeceased her in 1907. She is survived by four children: R. J., Albert and Millie (Mrs. Gibson Richardson) of Mono, and Hazel (Mrs. Ivan Gamble) of Parkbeg Saskatchewan. There were twenty-seven grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. W. J. Mossip of Stoughton Saskatchewan. The service which was largely attended was conducted by Rev. G. P. Parson, rector of St. James church, Primrose, and was held at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Gibson Richardson, on Sunday, May 22nd. Interment was made in Shelburne Cemetery. The pallbearers were six grandsons: Harvey, Daniel, Clifford and Collins Little and Billy and Lloyd Richardson. The floral tributes were carried by eight nephews. Among those who attended the funeral were friends from Dundalk, Ravenna, Newton Robinson, Flesherton, Toronto and Parkbeg Saskatchewan.

News of the sudden and entirely unexpected death of Robert J. Little, well known West Mono Farmer and former road superintendent of Mono Township, created widespread gloom in his home community and the keenest sympathy for the suddenly bereaved wife and family. Little was driving north on Highway 10 when for some reason or other his car left the road almost opposite the gateway on Hamilton McKim's farm, [Lot 18] plunged over the end of the culvert and upset in the ditch.

WILLIAM ALBERT LITTLE: Following an illness of some months duration the death occurred in Lord Dufferin Hospital, Orangeville, on July 13th 1953, of Wm. Albert Little, in his 68th year, youngest son of Wm. J. Little and Caroline Marshall. He spent his entire life on the Little homestead, Lot 27, Con. 2., West Mono, where he was born. He was a member of St. James Church, Primrose, and a quiet, home-loving man, who was held in high esteem by his friends and neighbors. He leaves to mourn his passing his wife, the former Harriett E. Lindsay, and two daughters and seven sons, Doris (Mrs. Mervyn Ferris), of Whitfield; Muriel (Mrs. James L. Brown), of Melancthon; Clifford, Melancthon; Lindsay, 0rillia; Winslowe, Hamilton; Kinsell, Waldemar; Wm. Collins, Toronto, Maurice and Beverley, at home. Also eight grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Gibson Richardson, Shelburne, and Mrs. Ivan Gamble, of Parkbeg, Sask.; one brother, R. J., predeceased him in 1942. The funeral was held from the Steenson Funeral Home, Shelburne, on July 16th, at 2.00. p.m. and interment in Shelburne Cemetery. The Rev. J. Mackenzie Dobson, rector of St. James' Church, Primrose, conducted the service and Mr. D. Steenson rendered a comforting solo, "In the Sweet Bye and Bye." The pallbearers were six sons and the flowerbearers were nieces, nephews and neighbors. A quiet, but pretty wedding was solemnized at 3.00 o'clock p.m. on Wednesday, March 14th, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Small, 5 Osler ave., Toronto, when their cousin, Miss Hazel C. Little, youngest daughter of Mrs. W. J. Little of Shelburne, became the bride of Ivan E. Gamble of Moose Jaw, Sask., formerly of Mono Centre. Rev. A. J. Reid, rector of St. Mark's church, officiated. They will reside at Moose Jaw, Sask.

A well-known resident of Parkbeg, Saskatchewan, passed away suddenly on Monday, September 18th, 1961, in the person of Mrs. Hazel Gamble, in her 66th year. She was the youngest daughter of William James and Caroline Little.

Mrs. Gamble was born at Dundalk and moved to the Primrose district as a small child. She was a member of St. James Anglican Church and attended Mono Dell public school.

In 1917 she married Ivan Gamble of the Mono Centre district and moved as a bride to Spring Valley. In 1923 they moved to Parkbeg, where they farmed and operated a gas station and made many close friends.

She was a member of the Anglican Women's Auxiliary of Mortlack and a past member of the Royal Purple Lodge.

Mrs. Gamble is survived by her husband, Ivan; three sons, Arthur, of Mortlack; Wyman, of Vancouver, B.C., and Tom. of Oxbow; two daughters, Mrs. Robert Peterson (Iona) and Mrs. Clarence Reynolds (Audrey), both of Aldergrove, B.C.; and twelve grandchildren. One sister, Mrs. Gibson Richardson (Millie), of Shelburne, Ontario; two brothers, Robert John and Albert Little, both of Mono predeceased her.

Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Gamble spent two months last winter in this district visiting with their many friends and relatives.

The largely attended funeral service was held on Thursday, September 21st, in the Broadfoot Funeral Chapel. Burial was in Rosedale Cemetery, Moose Jaw.
