Louis A. Pfeiffer, 78, Dearborn tailor
Louis A. Pfeiffer, former owner of Pfeiffer Tailor Service in west Dearborn, died July 6 in Phoenix Community Hospital after a long illness. He was 78.

Following his father into the tailoring business, Mr. Pfeiffer operated the tailor shop for 25 years. He retired about 20 years ago and moved to Arizona in 1974.

He was a past president of the Shriners and a member of St. Paul's Church in Dearborn.

He leaves his wife, Doris Hewitt a daughter, Carol Solgan; a son, Jacob; a sister, and eight grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Aug. 12 at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens, Farmington Hills.

DEARBORN SOCIETY.
On Wednesday evening the marriage of Miss Doris Hewitt and Mr. Lewis Pfeiffer was solemnized at a very pretty ceremony at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. M. W. Hewitt of Memphis, Michigan.

The bride, charming in a gown of white satin with pearl trimming, was attended by Miss Dorothy Gray, and Mr. Pfeiffer was assisted by his brother, Mr. William Pfeiffer.

After the ceremony the young couple left for a motor trip to New York and other eastern cities and on their return will be at home on Audrey avenue in Dearborn.
