Oct 4,1920 - May 5, 2011 Jack passed away May 5, 2011 at Nanaimo, Dufferin Place, Cedar Wing after a lengthy illness. He was predeceased by his wife Edith and daughter Donna. Jack is survived by his children Lorraine, Denise, Fred, Rick and Jack, 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.Jack spent his life with The Armed Forces serving across Canada, Europe and served in WW2 and the Korean War. His life was his Regiment, The Royal Canadian Regiment 1st Battalion. He also served and belonged to The Korean Veterans Association and 808 Wing here in Nanaimo for a number of years. A viewing will be held on Wednesday May 11 at First Memorial Funeral Home here in Nanaimo from 2-4pm and a full service will take place in Uxbridge . Ont. Dad was loved by his family and will be greatly missed.
