EUNICE LeQUELENEC (nee FLEMING) Passed away peacefully at Serenity Retirement Residence, Barrie, on January 11, 2017 in her 95th year. Predeceased by her late husband Jack and Grandson John. She will be greatly missed by her boys Larry and Bryan, her grandchildren Stephen (Shannon), Dana (Faron), Elizabeth (Jason), Cindy (Randy) and Bryna (Brad) and will be fondly remembered by her 8 great-grandchildren and 2 great- great-grandchildren. Loved by Faye, Carol and Anita. The family would like to sincerely thank the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, Donna, Bill, Brenda and all the staff at Serenity, Christine, Catherine and all Support (PSWs) from St. Elizabeth who cared for Eunice, Judy and Mary for faithfully bringing in your furry friends, Summer and Sunny, who she loved to feed besides the birds and squirrels. Words can't express how grateful we are for your compassion and care with our mom / Grammy. Known to many of her friends from coast to coast as "Big Mom", we can't thank you enough for your friendship. She enjoyed reading your letters, adored your flower arrangements and truly appreciated your visits when in the area. She will be remembered as a strong, independent, witty, caring and compassionate person with a great sense of humour. Her determination for life was to protect her boys, provide for her family, laugh with friends and enjoy her grandchildren. We are all blessed to have known her and been loved by her in which she will always hold a special place in our hearts. A private family service will be held at a later date.
