He was the son of the late George Little and Mary Jane Baker, of Elba, Mono township. Of a family of nine children, four survive: Joseph G., of Shelburne; Elizabeth (Mrs. Fred Buchanan), Elba; May Jane (Mrs. R. J. Bailey), Shelburne, and Robert, Toronto. He is survived by one son, William T, superintendent of the Boys' Training School at Brampton and three grandchildren, Thomas, Sally and Jane Little. In April, 1909 he married Lillian Whiteoak, who predeceased him in June, 1938. Mr. Little was of a kindly and sympathetic nature, always ready to offer help and encouragement to those with whom he came in contact. He was beloved by all who knew him. The funeral service, conducted by Rev. A. Lawson, of Timothy Eaton Memorial Church, and a personal friend of the family, was held September 16th, from the funeral home of Turner and Proctor, Bloor and Jane Street. The pallbearers were six nephews: Walter and George Little, George Buchanan, Dr. Alvin Medlock, James Whiteoak and W. Shand. Interment was made in Park Lawn Cemetery. Child: 1.
