NEWTON, Maurice William Peacefully at Headwaters Health Care Centre, Shelburne on Thursday, August 14, 2008 in his 89th year. Loving husband of Jean. Cherished father of Barb and her husband Bill Jordan. Devoted grandfather of Brian and Brenda Jordan. He will be sadly missed by his relatives and friends. The family will receive friends at the Doney Funeral Home, 318 Main St. E., Shelburne on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, August 16, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. Interment in the Shelburne Cemetery to follow. Donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.

NEWTON, Margaret "Jean" (nee Gallaugher) - Peacefully at Headwaters Health Care Centre on Friday, February 10, 2012 in her 88th year. Beloved wife of the late Maurice. Loving mother of Barb and her husband Bill Jordan of Elmira. Cherished grandmother of Brian Jordan (Sudbury) and Brenda Jordan (Kitchener). Dear daughter of Norman and Margaret (Bradley) Gallaugher, both predeceased. Dear sister of Eldon Gallaugher (predeceased) and his wife Ruby of Alliston. She will be sadly missed by her relatives and friends. Retired nurse of 38 years from Shelburne District Hospital. The family will receive friends at the Doney Funeral Home, 318 Main St. E., Shelburne on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service in the funeral home chapel on Monday, February 13, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. Spring interment at Shelburne Cemetery.
