Born in Cooksville, Ontario. Passed away at her residence in Oakville, on Monday, October 12, 2015 in her 98th year. Loving wife of the late Lorne. Dearest mother of Lorna and Carole (Peter) Rose. Loving grandmother of Tim, Debbie, Jennifer and Kevin Rose. Great-grandmother of Brooklyn, Savanah, Riley, Tyson, Rachel, Kyle, Nevaeh, and Harlan. Daughter of the late William and Sarah. Sister of the late Roy, Arnold, Robert and Edward. Doris was a lifetime member of the Cooksville United Church and 60+ year member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, and friends. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter "Peel" Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St., Mississauga (Hwy. 10, N. of QEW) on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday, October 16, 2015 at 11 a.m. Interment at Park Lawn Cemetery. BRUNSKILL, Lorne Adam Born in Cooksville, Ontario November 2, 1913, passed away peacefully on Saturday February 16, 2008 at the Trillium Health Centre - Mississauga. He leaves behind his loving wife Doris (nee McKee) after 62 years of marriage, his loving daughters Lorna and Carole Rose (Peter). Proud 'Pa' of Tim, Debbie, Jennifer, Kevin and 6 great- grandchildren. Dear brother of Helen, Lois Henry (Bill), and the late Bill, Harold, Winnie and Shirley. Lorne was a member of The Mississauga Masonic Lodge, where he had been a Past Master for 53 years, and a 50 year member of The Eastern Star. He is also an honorary member of The Board of Trustees of Cooksville United Church. Lorne will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends.
