At his residence, following a battle with cancer, on Friday, July 4, 2014, in his 94th year. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy Bellerby. Dear father of Pat Wilson (Murray), Carrol Gagnier (Louis) and Doug (Chris). Loving grandfather of Stephen (Cynthia), Gordon (Inge) and the late Sandra (wife of Andy Johnston). Great-grandfather to seven great-grandchildren. Brother of Dod (Ruth). Predeceased by sisters Eleanor (wife of Gordon Gilbert) and June and by son-in-law Howard Pepper. Peacefully at the North Bay General Hospital, on Sunday June 4th, 2006 at the age of 87 years. Dorothy Bellerby, was the beloved wife of Douglas Myles Wilson. Doug and Dorothy would have celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary this coming September. Proud and loving mother of Patricia Wilson (Murray) of Riceville, Ont. Carrol Gagnier (Louis) of Metcalfe, Ont. & Douglas (Chris) of Oakville. She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Stephen Pepper (Cindy) and Gordon Wilson (Inge), and her seven great grandchildren. Dorothy was predeceased by her granddaughter Sandra Johnson. Dear sister of Ruby Clowes of Ottawa, & Joyce Mays (Herb) of New Market. She was also predeceased by her sister Rhoda McKay and brothers John, Charles, Fred and Roy.

A dedicated wife, mother and grandmother, Dorothy and Doug moved throughout Ontario with Doug's work. They came to North Bay in 1974 from Hornepayne. She was an active member of the Eastern Star.

Friends may call at the Martyn Funeral Home on Tuesday June 6th from 2- 4 & 7 - 9 p.m. An Eastern Star memorial service to honor Dorothy will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday evening at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Services to celebrate her life will be held in the Martyn Funeral Home on Wednesday June 7th. At 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in St. John's Anglican Cemetery.
