KATHY CUMMINGS
(1962-2021)

Mrs. Kathy Darlene Gollihue Cummings, age 59, of Worthington, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, May 18, 2021, at Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Kentucky.

She was born February 8, 1962, in Carter County, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Sherman and Marcella Felty Gollihue.

Kathy was of the Baptist faith. She retired from Smithfield Foods in Grayson, Kentucky. She loved reading, going to yard sales, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Danny Cummings; one daughter, Kristy Cummings, two sisters, Juanita Gollihue and Donna Gumm, and two brothers in-law, James Hitch and Glen Harlow.

Kathy is survived by two sons, Brent Cummings and Jason Cummings both of Grayson, Kentucky; two daughters, Dana Cummings of Ashland, Kentucky; and Jessica Cummings of Worthington, Kentucky; one special grandson, Nathan Cummings of Grayson, Kentucky; 10 grandchildren; two brothers, Eddie Gollihue and Johnny Gollihue all of Grayson, Kentucky; three sisters, Judy Hitch of Elliott County, Kentucky; Tammy Harlow of Grayson, Kentucky and Sherry Burchett of Vanceburg, Kentucky. She also leaves other family members and friends who will sadly mourn her passing.

Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Sunday, May 23, 2021, at the Grayson Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Grayson, Kentucky, with Brother Denver Prater officiating.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, May 23, 2021, Grayson Funeral Home and Cremation service for Mrs. Kathy Darlene Gollihue Cummings.
