Charles Layne "Shank" Felty, 69 of Grayson, died at his Residence.
He was born in Grayson, KY a son of the late Mason and Goldie Burton Felty.
Charles was an Army Veteran, former employee of the Mott Drilling Company, and retired from the City of Grayson Utilities Department.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Franklin and Edward Felty, and one sister, Jean Bush.
He is survived by two daughters, Laci (Shannon) Jenkins of Grayson, KY, and Jennifer Oney of Grayson, KY; one sister Marcella Gollihue of Grayson; and two grandchildren John Braden Jenkins and Cevin Johnson.
Military rites conducted by the East Carter JROTC.
