Elmer Allen Tomlin, 71, of Chenoweth Fork Road, Piketon, Ohio passed 7:56 p.m. Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at Adena Pike Medical Center.
Elmer was born March 4, 1948 in Piketon, Ohio, the son of the late James Tomlin and Florence Bell (Stewart) Tomlin. On June 14, 1971, Elmer was united in marriage to Phyllis Ann (Wilburn) Tomlin, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, a daughter, both of Piketon, Ohio, seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and two sisters, both of Piketon, Ohio.
Elmer attended Anchor of Hope Church of God and was a retired timber worker.
His parents, a grandson, Jacob Lee Leeth, four sisters, Ruth Looney, Pauline Finley, Dorothy Sprugeon, and Lillian Tomlin, and three brothers, Raymond Tomlin, James Tomlin, and John Tomlin preceded Elmer in death.
Funeral services will be held 12:00 Noon Saturday, March 9, 2019 at BOYER FUNERAL HOME in Waverly with Reverend Donald Stewart officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Olive Cemetery, Ladd Ridge, Lucasville, Ohio.
Family will receive friends at the Boyer Funeral Home from 10:30 until the service hour on Saturday.
