OBITUARY for GoldieS.Nash (born Price); recent residence: Council Bluffs, IA. GoldieS. (Price) Nash, age 85, of Council Bluffs, passed away February 16, 2008. Goldie was born July 31, 1922, in Wheelersburg, Ohio, to Jacob and Ellen Rawlins Price. She graduated from Ashland Kentucky High School, in 1941, and married Thomas L. Nash on March 28, 1942. Goldie worked at Wright Field, in Dayton, Ohio, during World War II, and then at Sears and J.C. Penney's.Goldie has lived in Council Bluffs since 1962. She was a member of Southwest Church of Christ, in Omaha, Neb., and and will be remembered as an avid gardener. She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Homer E. Price, Jodie Price, George H. Hollingsworth, and Donald Dean Hollingsworth; three sisters, Irene E. Hayes, Clara B. Hall, and Naomi K. Brewer; and several stepbrothers and stepsisters. Survivors include husband, Thomas; daughters, Terri Krabbee and husband Robert, Pamela Stewart and husband Lawrence; son, Randy Nash and wife Christy, all of Council Bluffs; grandchildren, Jill (Randy) Hallberg, of Batavia, Ill., Robert Krabbe III, Susan Lawrence, Jason (Kristina) Nash, Kevin (Carrie) Nash, of Council Bluffs, and Linda (Scott) Beeker, of Coppell, Texas; 8 great grandchildren; one sister, Laura (Alvin) Chapman, of Fairborn, Ohio; brother, Randall "Gene" (Madonna) Hollingsworth, of Xenia, Ohio; sister-in-law, June Hollingsworth, of Hillboro, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation with family Monday, 6-8 p.m., at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home. Funeral services Tuesday, 10 a.m., also at the funeral home. Reverend Jim White, officiant. Interment, Ridgewood Cemetery. Memorials to Nebraska Christian Services, and Hospice of Southwest Iowa, preferred.
