Velma June Hollingsworth, 87, of Hillsboro, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, July 1, 2021. She was born in Sandy Hook, Kentucky on June 5, 1934, the daughter of the late Walter and Edna Winkleman. Besides her parents, she was preceded by her husband, GeorgeHollingsworth, on Oct. 25, 1995; brother, Don Winkleman; and sister, Marie Winkleman. Velma was a member of the Bible Believers Baptist Church. Velma is survived by her daughter, Marilyn (Frank) Andros; two grandchildren, Lory (Rob) Hubbard and Frank Andros; three great-grandchildren, Joshua, Jared and Marley Hubbard; brothers, Claude Winkleman and Carl (Sue) Winkleman; sister, Joyce Lewis; brother-in-law, Gene (Madonna) Hollingsworth; and several nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday July 6 at the Bible Believers Baptist Church, 7011 Ervin Rd., Hillsboro, Ohio 45133. Burial will follow at the Sugartree Ridge Cemetery.
