  General Notes:

On August 13th, 2021, at the age of 65, James "Rick" Richard Steiner died unexpectedly of a pulmonary embolism at Aurora Health Center in Oshkosh, WI. He passed away peacefully and was surrounded by loved ones.

Rick married his wife Jane Thompson in December of 1978 and together they had four children Shawna, Joshua, Anna, and Jacob. He was baptized Catholic when his son Josh was born. He had a very strong faith and enjoyed going to church every Sunday.

Rick's career was spent working at Arrowhead Conveyor where he recently celebrated his 45th anniversary. His dad founded Arrowhead, so it meant a lot to him to work his entire career for the company.

Above all else, Rick enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially being with his grandchildren. He had a great passion for music and a love for all sports. He had a witty sense of humor and liked quoting his favorite movie lines. He was a very kind, sweetheart of a man who would bend over backwards to help others.

Survivors include, wife Jane Steiner, Oshkosh; four children, Shawna (Kyle) Rooney, Minnesota, Josh (Anna) Steiner, South Carolina, Anna (Aaron) Jelleberg, Oshkosh, and Jacob Steiner Green Bay; 11 grandchildren, Madden, Declan, Conrad, and Evelyn Rooney, Ian, Brennan, and Liana Steiner, Adele, Magnus, Julia, and Ella Jelleberg; brother: Jerry (Fay) Steiner; sister: Linda (Kenny) Korsch; and many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by parents James Francis and Diane Steiner.

There will be a service held in honor of Rick at St. Jude's Catholic Church- Sacred Heart site, 519 Knapp St. on Wednesday, August 18th, 2021. Visitation will be held from 9:00am until 12:00pm. Followed by Mass at 12pm. A private interment will take place in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.

In lieu of sending flowers, Rick would want a donation to be made to the Angelman Syndrome Foundation or Accessible Space.
