ALMAS, John Hamilton Suddenly at the Hamilton General Hospital on Thursday, September 22, 2011, at the age of 72 years. Beloved husband and best friend of Jenny. Loving father of David and Kate, Amy, and Johnny and Sharon. Loving step-father of Bob and Kim Sugg, Jenny and John Medeiros, and Ron and Angie Sugg. Dear Grandpa of Ashley and Tim, Kennedy, Hannah, Isaac, Emma, Becky, Michael, Jena, Evan, Derek, Daniel, Ray, Troy, and Adam. Dear great-grandpa of Lily. Son of the late R.F. (Fran) and Eleanor Almas. Brother of Kaye and Tom Spratt. Also survived by nieces and nephews. A private family graveside service will be held. The family invites family and friends to a celebration of John's life at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 164, Hagersville, on Monday, September 26, 2011, at 3 p.m. (casual dress).
