GULLEY, Louis Henry Joseph - Passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 6, 2014 at Pleasant Manor in Virgil, Ontario at the age of 87. Lou retired as a locomotive engineer from the CNR in 1986. He was the beloved husband of the late Bonnie Gulley (nee Richardson). Also the loved father of Louise (Ken Thompson) and Steven (Susan). He was a very proud grandfather (Poppa) to Matthew (Jeanette), Daniel, Jamey (Whitney) and Tim (Aisha) and great-grandfather to Makenna. He was predeceased by his sister Jean Gibson. The family would like to thank the entire staff at Pleasant Manor for their care and concern over the years. The family will receive friends and family at the JACK AND THOMPSON FUNERAL HOME, 318 Main St. E., Shelburne, on Wednesday, September 10, 2014 from 1-2 p.m. The funeral will follow in the chapel at 2:00 p.m. Donations may be made to Pleasant Manor, Virgil, Ontario. Louis married Mildred Bonnie Richardson, daughter of John Gibson Richardson and Alice Amelia (Millie) Little, on 19 Feb 1949. (Mildred Bonnie Richardson was born on 23 Feb 1927, died on 6 Dec 2007 in Virgil, Ontario, Canada and was buried in Shelburne Cemetery, Melancthon, Dufferin, Ontario, Canada.)
