Erickson), Dr. John and his wife Betty Ann, Predeceased by Bessie; grandfather of Betty Ann, Mary Jane, Melanie Sue, Leslie, Lyle, Darrell, Sanda Lee, Justin, Daniel and Joseph; great-grandfather of Sean, Bryan, Tanya, Rodney and Tracey; brother of Alf McCarthy, Bertha Clark and Etta Willoughby.
Rested at Baxter & Giles Funeral Home, Orangeville. Service was from Camilla United Church of Thursday at 3:30 p.m. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery.
OBITUARY: FRANK WALTER FRANCIS TURNER Frank Walter Francis Turner was born on Lot 16 Blind Line Mono Twp., in 1899. His parents, John Turner and Emma Christian were early pioneers of English Ancestry.
Mr. Turner spent his entire life on the Turner farm and got his elementary education at S.S. No. 8 Public School Camilla.
During his teenage years he served as president of the Young Peoples Union of St. Andrews Church Camilla, where as a lifelong member he became an honorary elder of the United Church of Canada.
He was married in 1922 to Bertha Eveline Buchanan of Primrose and they had five children, Eveline Turner of Camilla, Iris Small of Los Angeles, Flo Erickson of Nelson, B.C., Bessie Armstrong deceased, and Dr. John Turner of Orangeville. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Surviving are two sister, Bertha Clark of Toronto, Etta Willowby of Calgary, Alta., and on brother, Alfred McCarthy of Toronto. He was predeceased by six brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services were held from St. Andrews Church Camilla Oct. 23, 1986 by officiating clergyman Rev. Franklin Kern. Interment was in Forest Lawn Cemetery Orangeville, Ont.
