Philip LITTLE Obituary

LITTLE, Dr. Philip 1942-2018 Passed away peacefully at the Ottawa Civic Hospital Tuesday, April 10, 2018 surrounded by his family. He is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Margaret (Sim), his children Christine (Terry) Hanson, Scott (Cynthia), and Andrew (Jacky) and his six grandchildren who adored their papa, Olivia and Andrew Hanson, Tiana and Carly Little, and Jonathan and Alexandra Little. He is also survived by his two brothers, Ross (Kathy), Paul (Judy) and sister and brother-in-law, Marilyn and Bob Bennett. Anything Phil did in life he did with a perfectionist's zeal - be it his successful dental practice in Kitchener, his cottage sanctuary on Tyson Lake that he enjoyed with countless friends and family or the beautiful homes and gardens that he and Margaret created in Waterloo and later on in retirement in Cantley, Quebec and then Kanata, Ontario. Phil loved his 3 ""G""s - gardening, golfing and going fishing. Most of all he loved his family. He was a wonderful husband, devoted father and adoring grandfather. In his quiet and determined way he was admired as one-of-a-kind by anyone who got to know him. Special thanks to all the amazing doctors, nurses and staff who cared for Phil over the last 7 months at the Ottawa General and Civic Hospitals. As Phil requested, cremation and a private family service has taken place. A Celebration of Phil's Life will be held in the near future.
