Passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2023, at South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Walkerton. Beloved husband of Evelyn (nee Dermott), father to Anne (Jim) Gale of Stayner, Lynn (Sean) Berdan of Belmont, Dwayne (Sue Szell) Breedon of Angus. Wayne is cherished by his grandchildren Zachary (Marissa) and Jacob, and great grandchildren Lillian and Violet. He will be missed by his sisters Phyllis O'Neill, Judith Watson, brother-in-law Russell McLennan, and many nieces and nephews. Wayne was followed in death by his sister Fern on Thursday, January 12, 2023, and predeceased by his parents Stanley and Dorothy (nee Williams) Breedon. Graveside service will be held at Greenwood Cemetery, Orangeville on May 12, 2023 at 11:00 am, with reception to follow at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre 21 First St. Orangeville. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or Walkerton and District Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
A tree will be planted in memory of Wayne in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. 21st Annual Dedication Service will be held on Sunday, September 10, 2023 at 2:00 p.m.
