General Notes: Orangeville Banner - July 5 1906,p.3:Elizabeth (Carson) Linn - The death occurred on Sunday, June 17, at her late home near Ben Allen, of Mrs. W.J. Linn, after an illness extending over several weeks. Deceased whose maiden name was Elizabeth Carson was in her thirty-ninth year and was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Carson, of St. Vincent. She was born in the township of Mono, near Orangeville and when but a child moved with her parents to St. Vincent where she continued to reside until her marriage to Mr. Linn a little over fifteen years ago. Her death was due to heart failure following an attack of inflammatory rheumatism. Besides a sorrowing husband she leaves a family of three boys, Master Robert James, aged fourteen years; George Carson, aged twelve years and William Judson, aged two months, to mourn the loss of a loving wife and mother. The funeral took place on Tuesday, June 19th, to Sarawak, cemetery and was largely attended the services being conducted by Rev. P.C. Cameron, pastor of the Owen Sound Baptist church. The pall bearers were Messrs. John McInnis, W.H. Cavell, Angus McDougald, John McMillan, H. Nelson and R. England. -- Owen Sound Times. Elizabeth married William John Linn on 25 Feb 1891 in St. Vincent, Grey, Ontario, Canada.
