Hunter - Little
On Saturday, June 5, 1965, St. Paul's Anglican Church Shelburne, was the scene of an interesting and pretty wedding when Mary Jane Little, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Little, became the bride of Dr. Michael Hunter, son of Major General and Mrs. Hunter of London, Ontario. Rev. J.M. Dolson officiated.

Susan Little sister of the bride, sang "/walk Hand in Hand" "The wedding Prayer." The church was decorated with baskets of pink gladioli and white snapdragons.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, was radiant in a full-length gown of peau de sole and French lace. A cluster of little rosettes and lace held her fingertip veil. She carried a white orchid surrounded by white sweetheart roses.

Her maid of honor was her sister Barbara and her bridesmaids were her sister Betty Marie and her friend Rita Smith and her friend Rita Smith of Barrie. They wore identical full-length gowns of soft pink with matching rosettes and carried bouquets of white and pink sweetheart roses.

The groom was attended by his friend, Dr. Robert North of Boston. The ushers were Dr. Ralph Ruby of London and Reg Little, brother of the bride.

The reception was held in the Cedar Room, the bride's mother wearing a dress of soft green crepe with off-white accessories and a corsage of talisman roses.

The groom's mother wore a suit of soft pink with pink accessories and a corsage of pink roses.

For a honeymoon trip to Bermuda the bride wore a suit of off-white linen and beige accessories. Her corsage was a white orchid.
