GODFREY, James Morrison Knox- Passed away after a short illness at the Woodstock Hospital, on Friday, November 24th, 2017 in his 91st year. Beloved husband of Jean (nee Brooks) Godfrey. Loving father of Richard James (Sharon), Paul Douglas (Lisa), Kevin George (Robin), and Mark Andrew (Brenda). Cherished grandfather of 7 grandsons and 2 granddaughters. Proud great grandfather of many and 2 great great granddaughters. Dear brother to Margaret Joan (Wayne) Kidd. Predeceased by his first wife, Audrey Marie Godfrey. Celebration of Life service will be held at the Woodhouse United Church, 2164 Hwy. 24 S., Port Dover/Simcoe on Friday December 1, 2017 at 11:00 am. with visitation one hour prior to the service. Cremation has taken place. If desired, memorial contributions to the Ontario Heart and Stroke or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated and may be arranged through the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004).
