RICHARDSON, Gladys Elizabeth - peacefully on Thursday, October 4, 2007 surrounded by her family at Soldiers' Memorial Hospital, Orillia, in her 91st year. Loving wife of Lloyd for 67 years. Dear mother of Dales (Joan) and Eric (Nadine). Devoted grand-mother of Wayne (Maria), Sandra (Lewis), Michelle (Jayson), Carrie (Craig), Elizabeth (Andy), Grant (Wendy) and Katie and great grandmother of Amanda, Ashley, Jaycub, Ryan, Amy, Jack, Pendleton and Vincent. She will be remembered by her many friends in Florida and in Bala, Ontario. Gladys was a life memer of the Dufferin County Museum and Canadian Snow Birds. The family will receive friends at the Doney Funeral Home, 318 Main St. E., Shelburne, on Monday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral service in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, October 9, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Shelburne Cemetery. If desired, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. Gladys' family would like to thank the kind doctors and nurses at Soldiers' Hospital I.C.U.
Gladys married Lloyd Osman Richardson, son of John Gibson Richardson and Alice Amelia (Millie) Little, on 21 Aug 1940. (Lloyd Osman Richardson was born on 17 Jul 1917 in Shelburne, Dufferin, Ontario, Canada, died on 23 May 2015 in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada and was buried in Shelburne Cemetery, Melancthon, Dufferin, Ontario, Canada.)
