SELLON, Michael Harold - After a brief illness, surrounded by loving family at LHSC - Victoria Hospital, Michael Harold Sellon passed away on Sunday, December 20, 2015, at the age of 61. Beloved husband and best friend of Brenda (Richardson) Sellon for 30 years. Cherished father of Samuel Sellon and Gordon Sellon. Dear brother of Niels Sellon. Loved brother-in-law of Sheila (Bob) Kamins, Reynold (Sandy) Richardson, Ethel Richardson, Rhonda (Michael) O'Brien. Loving uncle of Jason Richardson and Brendan O'Brien. Fondly remembered by father-in-law Gordon Richardson (the late Maye). Predeceased by his father Orville "Butch" Sellon and his mother Lizi "Betty" (Jacobsen) Sellon. Mike was an avid amateur athlete in running, skiing and cycling. He was a lifetime member of the Harley Owners group. Mike retired from Nova after 38 1/2 years of dedicated service. He was a true family man and he will be forever treasured in our hearts. Cremation has taken place. Family and friends will be received at SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, on Monday, December 28, 2015, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. A memorial service will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to SMAA, Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada, or Sarnia & District Humane Society (cheques only at the funeral home please).
