Shelburne Free Press & Economist, May 14, 1947 LITTLE-ORR: St. James' Anglican Church, Orillia, was the scene of a quiet but pretty wedding, on Saturday, May 3, at 2.00 p.m., when Eula Marie, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Orr, was united in marriage to Lindsay Little, son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Little, of Primrose. The ceremony was performed by Rev. A. G. Emmet, and Mrs. P. Roberts played the wedding music. The church was decorated with pink snapdragons and fern. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of brocaded marquisette, with full length veil. She carried red roses. Miss Lola Orr, sister of the bride, as maid of honor, was gowned in pink sheer crepe and carried Joanna Hill roses. Miss Doris Little, sister of the groom, as bridesmaid, wore white sheer and carried pink roses. They wore matching head dress of pink and white. Mr. Beverley Little was best man and Mr. Lloyd Orr, brother of the bride, was usher. Following the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride's parents. Mrs. Orr, mother of the bride, received in a dress of printed jersey, with a corsage of Joanna Hill roses. Mrs. Little, the groom's mother, assisted wearing a dress of printed silk jersey and corsage of Joanna Hill roses. Later the bride and groom left on a short honeymoon.
