HUGGINS, Helen Elizabeth (nee Rose) - Peacefully on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at the age of 97. Predeceased by her loving husband William (Bill). Beloved mother of Thomas and his wife Helen. Cherished Nana of Julie, Janet and Thomas and great-grandmother of Michael and Rebecca. Helen is predeceased by her grandson Michael and her siblings; Margaret, Louise, Viola, Annie, Frankie and Tommy. Heartfelt thanks to the nursing staff of Garden City Manor for their care and compassion. Friends will be received on Monday, April 17, 2017 at PLEASANTVIEW FUNERAL HOME (2000 Merrittville Hwy, Thorold 905-892-1699) from 5-8 pm. A funeral service to celebrate Helen’s life will be held on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at 1 pm in the funeral home chapel. Cremation to follow with private interment at a later date.
