Shelburne Free Press & Economist, January 17, 1973 - MRS. CHARLES BELLERBY:
The death occurred in Orangeville Area Hospital on Saturday January 6, 1973 of Della Marjorie Bellerby, wife of Charles Bellerby of Shelburne. She was born February 6, 1916 at Corbetton and was a daughter of the late Henry and Eva Hunking.

Her marriage to Charles Nelson Bellerby took place in Corbetton United Church on January 25, 1935. She leaves a family of five: June, (Mrs. Carl Demoe), Lindsay, Shirley, (Mrs. Frank Doerfler), Orangeville, Kenneth, Shelburne, Betty, (Mrs. Don Bates) Hamilton and Keith, Mississauga. Left also to mourn her loss are a brother Walter, Corbetton and a sister Mae, (Mrs. Clarence Allen) Toronto. She was predeceased by three brothers: Norman, Bruce and Ray.

Mrs. Bellerby was a member of Trinity United Church, The United Church Women, Shelburne Women's Institute, Shelburne and District Horticultural Society, Shelburne District Hospital Auxiliary, Emergency Measures Organization and TOPS.

Funeral service was held from James Tansley's Funeral Home, Shelburne, on Monday, January 9 at 2:00 p.m. Rev. S. J. C. Lindsay officiated assisted by Willis and Clarence Hunking of Fergus.

Pallbearers were: Grant Mainprize, David Allen, Leaman Hunking, Henry Smith, George Little and George Henderson.

Flower bearers were: Bill McLaren, Harvey Nicholls, Keith Burnside and Tom Hume.

Final resting place will be Shelburne Cemetery.
