June Cherry June 5, 1930 - September 18, 2014
The family of June Doreen Cherry wishes to announce her passing on September 18, 2014 after a long battle with cancer. June was born to Stanley and Viola Adair and raised west of Saskatoon. She met Wilfred and they were married October 17, 1950 and raised their five children in Saskatoon. June will be lovingly remembered by her children, Lee (Les) Evans, Glen (Cathy) Cherry, Gord (Cheryl) Cherry, Lynn Regier, Karen (Calvin) Grunerud; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren and the remainder of her family and friends. Mom will always be loved, greatly missed, and never forgotten. The family would like to thank all of the Palliative Care Team from St. Paul's Hospital and a very special thank you to our Palliative Home Care nurse, Helen. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to the Palliative Care Unit at St. Paul's. As per Mom's wishes, there will be no formal funeral service; an interment will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery for family and friends on Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at 11:00 a.m.
