Thomas Robert Stevens

  General Notes:

Thomas Robert Stevens, age 64, passed away peacefully at Arbors at Oregon on August 16, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. He was born March 20, 1954 in Toledo, Ohio to Robert Thomas Stevens and Betty Dawn Stevens (Sterling), the youngest of three children.

He was a graduate of Anthony Wayne High School and was a member of the Boy Scouts with his brother and father. His love for muscle cars followed him throughout his life and he often enjoyed working on and rebuilding them. Those who knew him well knew him as a true Chevy man having owned multiple Chevy Impalas, his favorite car, during his life.

Tom was preceded in death by his loving parents, Robert and Betty Stevens, and his beloved brother, Jeff. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his daughter, Shawnia Stevens, and five grandchildren; Tommy, Joshua, Zachary, Marissa, and Alex. His sister, Susan Nagy, and sister-in-law, Jeanne Stevens. Nieces Dori, Alison (Greg), Kirsta (Luke), Jessica (Mark), and Olivia (Joe). And Nephew Jayme. As well as great-nieces Abby, Kenzi, Ava, Norah, Lillianna, McKayla, and Harper and great-nephew, Levi. As well as many other family and friends.

Tom’s family wishes to thank the kind and loving staff at Arbors at Oregon who cared for him in his final year, you became his family and he loved you all. As well as SouthernCare Hospice for kindness in his final days. A private memorial service will be held at Wakeman Cemetery in Waterville. In lieu of flowers Tom’s family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society in his memory.
