HUGGINS, WILLIAM BRUCE “HUGGY” – Of Welland, peacefully at his residence, with his family by his bedside, on Sunday, July 15, 2012, at age 55 years. Cherished husband, for 34 years to Suzanne (nee Rodrigue). Beloved father of Randy Huggins (Amy), Celina and Amanda Huggins. Loved grandfather of Madisyn and Owen. Dearest godfather of Jeremy Colquhoun. Dear brother of Pat Dmytrow (Ron), Herb Huggins, Jean Rice (Peter), Les Huggins, Alan Huggins (Ginny) and Kathy Morningstar (Tim). Also survived by his brothers-in-law, Paul Ruston, and Mimi Rodrigue (Cheryl), sisters-in-law Lucy Tardif (Roger), Mary-Jane Kelly (Gary), Bruce Coring (Glenna), Rita Olah (Paul), Lisette Hammond (Paul), Ginette Colquhoun (Bob), Donna Rodrigue (late Rod), Audrey Rodrigue (late Lenny) as well as several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents Lessily and Doris Huggins, his parents-in-law, Donat and Agathe Rodrigue, sister Dodie Ruston and sister-in-law Denise Coring. Born in Welland, Mr. Huggins remained a lifelong resident of the city. He was employed with Atlas Steels as a steel pourer and as a fitter welder with CRS Specialties Inc. of Welland. Cremation has taken place. Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service, conducted by Reverend Val Kerr, at the H. L. CUDNEY FUNERAL HOME, 241 West Main Street, Welland on Thursday, July 19th at 2:00 p.m. with visitation two hours prior to service time. Inurnment at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the Juravinski Cancer Centre or Hospice Niagara would be deeply appreciated by the family. A special thank you is extended to Dr. P.
