Dorothy Phillips

  General Notes:

Dorothy Phillips Hoilman, age 90 of Sweet Creek Rd, Bakersville, NC passed away June 15, 2012 at her home. She was the daughter of the late Oscar and Nora Stewart Phillips and a Native of Mitchell County, NC. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughters, Hettie Wilcox, Nell Wayson, and Debra Weiford, all of Bakersville, NC, and sons Herbert, Albert, Bobby, and Junior Hoilman, all of Bakersville, NC, and sisters, Kathryn Phillips, Ruth Hoilman, Edna Street, and Mary Sue Garland, all of Bakersville, NC, twenty eight grandchildren, thirty eight great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Ralph Hoilman, daughters, Betty Wilcox, and Doris Hoilman, and brothers, Arnold, Glenn, Eugene,Leonard, and Donald Lee Phillips.

Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Henline – Hughes Funeral Home with Skip Weiford, and Johnathan McKinney officiating. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service.

Dorothy married Ralph Hoilman. (Ralph Hoilman was born on 12 Nov 1919 in Mitchell, North Carolina, United States of America, died on 27 Aug 1989 in Asheville, Buncombe, North Carolina, United States of America and was buried in Hoilman Family Cemetery, Mitchell, North Carolina, United States of America.)
