Blanche Margaret Nichols Nichols, Blanche Margaret, (Pollock), born April 13, 1922, in Saskatoon, SK. Blanche passed away peacefully at her home, Saturday, August 9, 2008 with her family at her side. She will be lovingly remembered by her children and grandchildren, Lynne Brewer; Sandra Nichols-Chris Friesen (Tara), Corey (Lisa); Karen (Doug) Canning of Donnelly, Alta-Dallas (Susan), Kyla; Lyle (Elaine)-Jennifer and Jeremy; Daryl (Kathy)Alex; Janice Nichols-Brad (Layla) Shuparski, Jeff (Leanne) Shuparski; Randal (Pat)Elizabeth and Kaitlyn; sister Helen (Ron) Kromm of Calgary, Alta., sisters-in-law Margaret Pollock, Katie Pollock, Barbara Wilson. She also leaves ten great-grandchildren, Jessica, Kiri, Ericka, Travis, Jerilyn, Keysha, Destiny, Daxx, Desiree and Noah and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her loving husband Clarance, son Kyle, granddaughter Gwen Friesen, her parents, William and Margaret Pollock, sister Olive (Mervin) Bowes, brothers, Lawrence and Murray Pollock, brother-in-law George Nichols, and sister-in-law Myrtle (Archie) McLellan. A Service of Remembrance will take place at St. David's Trinity United Church, 3318 Merrit St. (Montgomery Place) Saskatoon, SK, Friday, August 15th, at 2:00 p.m. officiated by Rev. Lorraine Harkness. Private family interment at Smithville Cemetery. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan (279 3rd Ave. N, Saskatoon, SK S7K 2H8) or St. David's Trinity United Church.
