JUNE M. BILODEAU

BERLIN – June M. Bilodeau, age 71, of Berlin, died peacefully on Sunday afternoon October 11, 1998 at the Juliette Manor Nursing Home of Berlin, WI after a long journey living with the Parkinson's disease.

She was born on March 7, 1927 in Fond du Lac, Wis. the daughter of Sidney and Beryl Walker Bird.

Prior to her retirement she practiced nursing in the surgical recovery room at the Doctors Hospital of Sarasota, Florida for 15 years. Before that she worked as an emergency room nurse at the Ripon Hospital (now Ripon Medical Center). She provided holistic care to all of her patients. She was an avid golfer, bowler, and also enjoyed many years of flying airplanes as a private pilot. She also loved collecting stuffed bears and initiated a "stuffed bear collectors club." She was a member of the Eastern Star and Amerrath.

Survivors include her husband, Eugene Bilodeau of Bradenton, Florida, her father Sidney Bird also of Bradenton, Florida and two sons, Robert Bucar of Level Green, Pa., and John Bucar of Greensburg, Pa. Two daughters, Gloria Jean (Hank) Megeath of Cumberland Md. And Annette (Thomas) Merryfield of Berlin, WI. Six grandchildren, also survived by two stepsons and one step daughter, also two brothers, Hugh (Shirley) Bird of Des Moines, Iowa and Thomas (Nancy) Bird of Tripoli, WI. Also several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends.

Private family services will be held at the Federated Church of Berlin, Wis. with the Rev. Jo Ann Schoblaski officiating.

In lieu of flowers a memorial may be directed to the Federated Church or the Juliette Manor Nursing Home, both of Berlin, Wis. in June's memory.

The John R. Wiecki Funeral Home of downtown Berlin, Wis. assisting the family with the arrangements.
