James Barber Little husband of the late Eleanor Sargent; dear father of Russell Little and brother or Robert, Mrs. Alice Hodgson and Mrs. George Walker (Sadie). Predeceased by John and Mrs. James Stinson (Annie), who departed this life at London, Ontario on Monday, April 8, 1963. Resting at the Dods Funeral Home, First St. and Second Ave., Orangeville. Service in the chapel on Thursday, at 4 p.m. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery.

Orangeville Banner, Thursday, May 2, 1963 - Page 8 - OBITUARY - JAMES B. LITTLE: James Barber Little, died in London on Monday, April 8, 1963. Six years ago, Mr. Little suffered a stroke. His death followed a second attack of pneumonia. He was in his 81st year and had made his home in Orangeville.

Born on Lot 19, No. 10 Highway, Mono Township, he was the son of William Little and Hannah Twible. He received his education at Camilla and Gleno Public Schools. He was interested in baseball and other sports and he was a faithful member of Camilla United Church, all his life.

After his parents moved to Orangeville in 1911, James Little and Ellen Sargent were married in Belwood in February, 1915. He and his wife lived on the homestead farm until 1957 when he retired to Orangeville.

He is survived by a son, Russell Little, two sisters, Mrs. Alice Hodgson, and Mrs. George Walker (Sadie), a twin brother, Robert, Toronto, and four grandchildren.

Services were conducted by Rev. F. Sullivan, formerly of Camilla, on Thursday, April 11, from the chapel of the Dods Funeral Home, Orangeville. Interment was made in Forest Lawn Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Cameron Lemon, William Staveley, Christopher Sorenson, Robert Curtis, Wilfred McKim, all old neighbors and Roy Denley, a nephew of Toronto.

The flower bearers were Carol Little, Lois Little, Arthur Hodgson and Garnet Stinson.
