Shelburne Free Press - June 5, 1902 - MARRIAGE:
A quiet but very pretty wedding took place at the residence of Geo. Little, of Elba, on Wednesday evening, May 28th, 1902, at 6 o'clock, when Miss Martha, his daughter, was married to Samuel George Shaw, of Mono township. The Rev. Wm. Hinde, rector of St. Paul's, Shelburne, performed the ceremony. Miss Lizzie A. Wilson, of Primrose, acted as bridesmaid and Robt. A. Morrison, of Arthur township, supported the groom. After the nuptial knot was tied the company sat down to a recherche wedding breakfast.

SHAW: In St. Thomas, on Tuesday, January 12th 1964 Martha Little, widow of the late William George Shaw, and mother of Evelyn (Mrs. James Lawrence), Barrie; Edna (Mrs. Harry Ferguson), Thornton; Carl, Harry and Trueman, St. Thomas in her 78th year. Funeral to Shelburne Cemetery, Friday afternoon, January 15th. at Annex Hospital, on Sunday, December 4th, 1940, Samuel George Shaw, beloved husband of Martha Little. In his 78th year. Interment Shelburne Cemetery Wednesday afternoon, following service in the Gamble Funeral Home, Shelburne, at 2 o'clock.
