Deceased, who was 74 years and 7 months of age, enjoyed good health until a few days before her death. She was born in Queen's County, Ireland, but came to Canada with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Baker, at the age of three weeks, settling in Mulmur township. At the age of 21 years she married the late George Little, who predeceased her three years. Mr. and Mrs. Little settled on lot 26, where they lived until the time of their deaths. To them nine children were born, all of whom survive, namely: Joseph George of Shelburne, William John of Buffalo, Mrs. S. G. Shaw of Newmarket, Mrs. R. J. Bailey of Eyebrow, Sask., Mrs. R. J. Small of Toronto, Mrs. Fred Buchanan, Mrs. Herb. Lindsay, Robert of Mono and Thomas, on the homestead. She leaves twenty-five grandchildren and one great grandchild. Mrs. Chas. Deceased was a devoted wife and mother, a kindly industrious woman who was ever ready to minister to the needs of friend and neighbor and who will be sadly missed by all who knew her. She was a member and regular worshipper of St. James' Anglican church, Primrose. The funeral, which was very largely attended, was held from her late home on Saturday afternoon, Jan. 17th, to Shelburne cemetery. All the members of the family were present except Mrs. R. J. Bailey. Rev. W. H. Hartley of Shelburne, assisted by Rev. Coutts of Camilla, conducted the services. Mr. Hartley preached a fitting sermon from Ecclesiastics, Chap. 12, verses 1 to 7. The pallbearers were Messrs. Jesse Freemantle, Jas. Horner, Jas. Dowdall, W. J. Fleming, John and R. J. Little.
