Robert Little, son of the late George Little and Mary Jane Baker of Elba, Ontario, died in Toronto on October 10, 1974. He was 88 years old. Except for four years when he homesteaded in Saskatchewan, he farmed in Mono until his marriage to May Boughton in 1943 when he moved to Toronto.

His jovial manner, his love for playing the violin and his unstinting contribution to the social life of the community in which he lived, and in later years his cheery visits to the sick, will long be remembered by all, old and young, who knew him.

He is survived by his wife May, his daughter Mary (Mrs. Jeffrey Cook) and two grandchildren, David and Tracy, and a sister Mary Jane (Mrs. R. J. Bailey) of Shelburne. Four sisters, Elizabeth Ann (Mrs. F. Buchanan), Martha (Mrs. S. Shaw), Emily (Mrs. R. J. Small) and Jemima (Mrs. H. Lindsay) and three brothers Joseph G., William John, and Thomas all predeceased him.

Funeral service was from Ingram Funeral Home, 1055 Gerrard St. E., on Oct. 12. The Rev. Pooley officiated. Interment was in Shelburne Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Stanley Summerfield, George Buchanan, George Broughton, Jeffrey Cook, George and Leslie Little.

Robert married Mae Agnes Boughton on 17 Aug 1943 in Toronto, York, Ontario, Canada. (Mae Agnes Boughton was born on 23 Feb 1902 in Derby, Derbyshire, England, died on 6 Jan 1982 and was buried on 8 Jan 1982 in Shelburne Cemetery, Melancthon, Dufferin, Ontario, Canada.)
