MILITARY NOTES
Pte. Albert Edward Twible, 17 Rusholme Road, Toronto, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robt. Twible, formerly of Shelburne, has been wounded in the right arm and knee. He is 22 years old and moved to Toronto from Shelburne with his parents several years ago.

Shelburne Free Press, November 2, 1916, Military Jottings: Pte. Albert Edward Twible, 17 Rusholme Road, Toronto, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Twible, formerly of Shelburne, has been wounded in the right arm and knee. He is 22 years old and moved to Toronto from Shelburne with his parents several years ago. Prior to enlistment with the 5th University Corps he was pattern cutter with the Home Pattern Co. in Toronto. His brother, Pte. Robert George Twible, enlisted in the same company, and the two boys have been fighting side by side ever since. Two other brothers are in khaki " Pte. Henry Hunter Twible, with the 204th at Exhibition camp, and Pte. M. Meredith, with the 67th Battery at Camp Petawawa.

LAUREL
Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Twible, Pte. A. E. Twible and Miss N. Chennels, of Toronto, spent the week-end with Laurel friends. Pte. A. E. Twible of the P.P.C.L.I arrived in Toronto a short time ago after spending seven months in the trenches. After being wounded he was sent to England, where he remained for some time. Pte. Twible has two brothers in France and is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Twible, formerly of Shelburne.
