PHILLIPS, Donald - Peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital on Monday, September 9, 2013 in his 75th year. Beloved husband of Shirley for 56 years. Loving father of Ron and his wife Sue, and of the late John and his wife Kathy. Loving grandfather of Andrew (Dawn), Daniel (Jada), Ashley (Rico), Jennelle and Christopher, and proud great-grandfather of Cameryn. Dear brother of Joan Hertendy (Ray). Donald had a deep love for his family and enjoyed spending as much time as he could with them. He also enjoyed time spent at the trailer and woodworking. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 11, 2013 from 2-4 & 7-9 p. m. at the DENNIS TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford. A funeral service will be held on Thursday at 3 p. m. in the chapel. Interment to follow at Oakhill Cemetery.
