Duckworth), Toronto, brother of Jack, Leith, Minnie (Mrs. Russell Sproule), Shelburne; Wm. E. and Sadie (Mrs. Clifford Noble), both deceased, passed away at Dufferin Area Hospital, Orangeville, on Wednesday, August 21, in his 77th year.
He was born June 20, 1898, on the Back Line, Melancthon, to the late Thomas A. Watson and Annie Gray. For 20 years he owned a Frozen Custard Stand at Orangeville and Shelburne. He was a member of Loyal Orange Lodge No. 909, Melancthon, for many years.
The funeral service on August 24 was conducted by Rev. Mark McDermott at the Gamble Funeral Home. Interment was in Shelburne Cemetery.
The pallbearers were his four nephews, Jim McBride, Tom Watson, Wayne Watson and Reg Little, and two cousins, Borden Brown and Gerald Gray. The flower bearers were nieces and nephews.Notes for Harold Thomas Watson:
