General Notes: Taylor Polkinghorne, Mary (nee Small) - April 4, 1916 - May 29, 2016 Passed away peacefully into the presence of her Lord and Savior at Trillium Manor on Sunday May 29th. She had recently celebrated 100 years of a good life. Mary was the beloved wife of the late Lloyd Taylor and the late Rex Polkinghorne. A loving mother to Ruthanne Shaw (Ron), Phyllis McDermott (John), Geraldine Taylor-Cook, Bill Taylor (Phyllis), and Jane Dunlop (Garfield). Dearly loved by 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Predeceased by her infant grandson Murray, by her parents R. J. & Emily Small, by her sister Kathleen, and by her brother Robert. The family will honour her life with a visitation at the Coldwater Funeral Home, Coldwater on Tuesday May 31st from 2-4 & 7-9 pm and at the Coldwater United Church on Wednesday June 1st from 12:30 pm until the time of service at 2 pm. Interment Coldwater Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations in memory of Mary may be made to the Coldwater Memorial Public Library, the Coldwater United Church or to the Make a Wish Foundation.
