Shelburne Free Press & Economist - September 18, 1963 - Mrs. R. N. CRUIKSHANK:
There passed away in Shelburne District Hospital on Thursday, August 29, 1963, Martha Jane Little after an illness of five years. She was born in Mono Township in 1883, daughter of the late Robert Little and Jane Buchanan.

On February 27, 1907, she married Robert Norman Cruikshank, who passed away six years ago. She was predeceased by two brothers, John James and George Samuel and a sister, Mary Ida (Mrs. Thomas E. Wilson)

Mrs. Cruikshank was a valued member of Burns United Church, Mono Centre. The funeral services were held from the Gamble Funeral Home, Shelburne, to Forest Lawn Cemetery, Orangeville, on Saturday, August 31st. Rev. Frank Sullivan and Rev. Harvey Markle of Bolton, cousin of the deceased, preached the funeral services.

Pallbearers were: Russell Thompson, Allan Elgie, George Little, Ralph Tredgett, George Buchanan and Ross Fines.

Donations were made to Gideon Bibles, The Cancer Society, -and the many beautiful flowers were carried by Walter Little, Donald Couzens, Douglas Buchanan and Ronald Bailey.
