SMITH - LITTLE
A quiet wedding was solemnized on Jan. 16th, 1946, in the chapel of St. Albian's Anglican Church, Toronto, when Rev. T. Crosthwaited united in marriage Kathleen Doris Little, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jos. G. Little, of Shelburne, and Mr. Norman John Smith, of Hornpayne, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Smith, of Barrie. The bride wore a street length dress of grey with accents of American beauty, matching accessories and a corsage of yellow roses. Miss Grace Budd of Toronto, was bridesmaid in an American beauty red dress with black accessories and corsage of apricot roses. The best man was Mr. Frank Nightingale.


Peacefully at Mill Creek Care Centre, Barrie on Sunday, December 30, 2018 in her 100th year. Daughter of the late Joseph and Addie Little of Shelburne. Loving wife of the late Norm Smith of Barrie. Devoted mother of Shirley (Martin) Bacigalupo, Linda (Gord) Ayres and Wayne (Marg) Smith. Dear grandmother of Chris, Karen, Jason, Kelly, Taylor and Sam and great-grandmother of 8great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the Jack & Thompson Funeral Home on Saturday, January 5, 2019 from 12-1 p.m. The funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 1:00 p.m. Spring interment at Shelburne Cemetery. If desired, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
