Mr. and Mrs. Cecil J. Bailey of 3104 Belle Terrace announce the betrothal of their daughter, Maureen, to Edward Timothy Davison, the son of Mrs. Helen B. Davison and Edward A. Davison, both of Winslow, Ariz.
The young people plan to exchange nuptial promises at St Paul's Episcopal Church, Aug. 17 at 8 p.m.
The bride-elect is a 1962 graduate of South High School, where she was a member of the California Scholarship Federation. She is a graduate of Bakersfield College, where she was president of the Associated Women Students. A 1966 graduate of the University of California at Santa Barbara, she was a history major. Attending Fresno State College, she will receive a teaching credential from FSC, Babersfield Center,in July.
The prospective bridegroom is a graduate of Winslow High School, Winslow, Ariz. He received his bachelor's and master's degrees in mechanical engineering from the New Mexico State University, where he was a member of Phi Kappa Tau fraternity. He is employed by Shell Oil Co. as a mechanical engineer.
