It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Bonnie Pollock of Sherwood Park, AB on Friday, September 3, 2010 at the age of 62 years, following a seven year battle with cancer. Her love for her family and passion for life will never be forgotten.
Bonnie will be forever missed by her loving husband of 42 years, Al; her children Brent (Katherine) and Wendy (Michael); and her grandchildren Darrian, Reis, Ava and Paige. She also leaves her brother, Terry, as well as numerous other family and friends.
She is predeceased by her parents, Golda and Hector Walker and her brother, Lyndon.
A Celebration of Bonnie's life will occur at the Sherwood Park Log Cabin (50 Spruce Avenue) on Sunday, October 3, 2010 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bonnie's memory to Edmonton's Stollery Children's Hospital Foundation ( www.stollerykids.com or 780-433-5437).
Bonnie's family wishes to extend special thanks to the nursing staff on Unit 31 (Special Care Unit) at the Cross Cancer Institute for the overwhelming warmth, care and compassion expressed toward Bonnie in her final days.
