General Notes: Greenville K. Cartmell, 75, of Buchanan, KY, died in a Louisa hospital, Thursday, January 17. Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday from the Buchanan Chapel with the Rev. Frank Wallace officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. He was born at Buchanan on March 8, 1887, a son of the late Thomas and Alice Estep Cartmell. He was a member of the Methodist Church. Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Stewart Cartmell; 3 daughters, Mrs. Earl Williamson and Mrs. Robert A. Roberts of Buchanan and Mrs. Charles Dixon of Catlettsburg; two sons, Thomas G. and James R. Cartmell of Buchanan; two sisters, Mrs. Clyde Colley and Mrs. Robert Horton of Miami Beach, FL; and 11 grandchildren. The body was at the Young Funeral Home.
