Eric Chas. Little Little- In Mono Township, on Monday, July 2nd, 1934, Eric Charles Little, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thos. Little and twin brother of Marjory Lillian aged 3 years, 8 months and 18 days. Funeral to Shelburne Cemetery at 3:30 o'clock, Wednesday afternoon July 4th.
Eric Charles Little The angel of death entered the home of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Little, of Primrose and took away their youngest son Eric Charles aged 3 years, 8 months and 11 days. The little lad was in good health on Saturday night and was awaken with what appeared to be a child aliment. When his condition became worse medial aid was summoned and he was taken on Monday morning to Lord Dufferin Hospital, Orangeville but in spite of all that loving care and medical skill could do the little innosed and passed peacefully away on Monday afternoon July 2nd. He had been regular attendant at St. James, S.S. Primrose this summer and by his sweet winsome ways had won the admiration and love of who knew him. Besides his parents and twin sister, Marjorie Lillian, he leaves to mourns his loss an elder sister, Jean, and three brothers- George, Leslie and Arthur. He was a grandson of Mr. G.W. Rayfield, Camilla; Many beautiful floral tributes bore testimony of the deep sympathy of friends and neighbors. The funeral, which was very large was held from the family residence, Lot 28 Conc. 2, West Mono on Wednesday afternoon, July 4th to Shelburne Cemetery, Rev. Dr. RP D. Hurford, the family rector conducted the funeral service, taking for his text" And the streets of the city shall be full of boys and girls playing the streets thereof: (Zach 3-5) The hymn sung were "Safe in the Arms of Jesus," and There's a Friend for Little Children Above the Bright Blue Sky." The little body, resting in the simply white casket, was carried to its last resting place by three brothers and a playmate, Truman Freemantle. The flower bearers were Rowena Manning, Phyllis Gaedka, Iris Turner, Doris Keele, Muriel Little, Ruth Lindsay, Kathleen Little and Kathleen Small. "
